Say hello to Fall
The summer was a beautiful whirlwind of long days, filled with quality time spent with family visiting from out of town, attending weddings, and taking our annual afternoon trip to see the sunflowers. As I sip my tea and gaze out at the fog, I find myself at a crossroads of emotions. Yes, I’m ready for the days to slow down and to carve out more "me time" for some relaxation (I don’t actually have Netflix, but you catch my drift). Yet, I also miss those long summer days. It gets dark so early now, and we have many months of this ahead of us. However, it’s not a daily routine of cloudy, misty rain, so I’ll take what I can get and be thankful for it. Today, despite the heavy fog, I can still see the vibrant yellows and oranges of the leaves changing, and it is truly beautiful!
